Brundage Site Work recently completed the installation of a KleanTu® NitROE® residential wastewater treatment system for a new home built by REEF Builders. The project was designed by J.M. O’Reilly & Associates, with precast components supplied by Acme Shorey Precast. All inspections were successfully completed, ensuring the system met state and local requirements.
The KleanTu® NitROE® system is an advanced Innovative/Alternative (I/A) septic solution designed to significantly reduce nitrogen discharge. This particular installation is capable of achieving a 90% reduction or greater in total nitrogen prior to discharge into the soil.
With Cape Cod’s fragile groundwater, estuaries, harbors, and river systems at risk from excess nitrogen, these systems are becoming increasingly common across residential properties in environmentally sensitive areas.
Traditional Title V septic systems are not always sufficient to protect Cape Cod’s delicate ecosystems. By implementing modern I/A technology like the KleanTu® NitROE®, homeowners can not only stay compliant with local regulations but also play a vital role in protecting the Cape’s water quality for generations to come.
