Our Town Water Connection Process
Project Request Form
Start by completing our online request form or calling our office. We’ll gather initial details and guide you through the first steps.
Site Visit
One of our project managers will visit your property to review site conditions, determine the scope of work, and prepare an accurate estimate.
Contract & Permitting
Once you approve the estimate and sign the contract, our office applies for all necessary permits — including conservation approvals if your property is within a restricted area.
Scheduling
After permits are secured, we confirm a projected start date. Scheduling depends on permit timelines, workload, and equipment availability, but we communicate clearly so you know when to expect us.
Excavation & Water Line Installation
In most cases, we use a mole (trenchless method) to run the water line from the curb stop to your basement. If this method isn’t feasible, we use trenching to complete the installation. Our crew ensures the line is placed accurately and safely.
Plumbing Services
If you’ve contracted us to coordinate plumbing, a licensed plumber completes the final hookup once the water line is in place.
Final Inspection & Billing
After inspections are approved, we backfill and restore the site. A final invoice is sent once all work — including plumbing services — is complete.

What to Expect
Some properties located in conservation areas require additional approvals from the Board of Health or local conservation commissions. Once approvals and permits are in place, we finalize scheduling and mobilization.
Our crew uses advanced methods to minimize disruption, whether through trenchless boring or traditional trenching. Once the water line is installed, we coordinate inspections and ensure your system is fully compliant before completing backfilling and cleanup.
