Excavating & Digging Services

Demolitions

Clearing and preparing land for new construction by removing existing structures, debris, and obstacles

Foundations

Preparing and building the base of your structure is one of the most important phases of construction, ensuring that the structure is stable and can support its own weight.

Drainage

We trench and channel drains to direct water away so that it doesn't pool, Allowing drainage runoff to channel back into the ground.

Trenching

We can accomodate any feasible depth. Safety is our priority and all trenching follows OSHA compliance by our trained excavators.

Beach Nourishment

Beach nourishment projects are designed and engineered to work like natural beaches, allowing sand to shift continuously in response to changing waves and water levels.

Excavating and Digging Services

Your Excavating Project Step-by-step.

01

ENGINEERING

Before your excavating project begins, engineer’s plans need to be provided. If you need a referral, please call our office and someone will assist you.

02

CONTACT US

Once we receive your engineers plans, a site visit will be scheduled and conducted by one of our project managers. These visits help us determine the scope of work, to be estimated appropriately and accurately.

03

CONTRACT

If you are satisfied with the estimate provided by BSW, a signature for the contract and project will need to be provided before the office can move onto applying for any necessary permits

04

SCHEDULING

Once permits are received by the office, we can better determine a projected start date. Scheduling of work is directly related to our current work load, machine availability and mobilization, and staffing.

05

PROJECT START

Once we have set and confirmed a project start date, an office member from BSW will be in contact as the project draws near for any additional information, concerns, or questions. You may hear from our office ahead of time, to mobilize machines for an easy start the day of.

06

INSPECTION

Work provided by BSW will need to be inspected by the corresponding engineer who provided the plans, and in some cases, town officials.

07

WORK COMPLETION

After the necessary inspections are completed and passed, we schedule the backfill and necessary grading to complete the project. A final invoice will be sent once BSW has completed the contracted work, and left the site.

Before the project

Once an engineer has provided the customer with the site plans necessary for work to be conducted, Brundage Site Work will begin the process of generating an estimate. After contracts are signed and the project deposit received, we apply for permits. Scheduling, mobilization, and project start are discussed after all permits are issued.

During/After the project

Most engineered site plans will require the town and the engineer to inspect the work provided by Brundage Site Work. Once inspections are completed, Brundage Site Work will schedule the back-fill and completion of the work.
