TOWN WATER CONNECTIONs

Your Town Water Project Step-by-step.

01

PROJECT REQUEST FORM

Complete the form on this page to the best of your ability and an office member will be in contact.

02

SITE VISIT

A site visit will be scheduled and conducted by a project manager. These visits help us determine the scope of work, to be estimated appropriately and accurately.

03

CONTRACT

If you are satisfied with the estimate provided by BSW, a signature for the contract and project deposit will need to be provided before the office can move onto applying for necessary permits.

04

SCHEDULING

Once permits are received by the office, we can better determine a projected start date. Scheduling of work is directly related to our current work load, machine availability and mobilization, and staffing.

05

PLUMBING SERVICES

If BSW has been contracted by the homeowner to include plumbing services, this will be scheduled by the plumber once BSW has completed brining the water line into the dwelling.

06

FINAL BILLING

A final bill will be sent to the homeowner once the water line and plumbing services have both been completed.

Before the project

In some cases, properties are in conservation land, so a separate application gets filed with the board of health. Once permits, and conservation approval has been accepted we can move into scheduling. Scheduling and mobilization are directly related to our current work load, the time it takes to get permits, and staffing accordlingly.

During/After the project

In most cases, we can use a mole to run the waterline from curb stop into the basement. When we use a mole there are pits that get dug along the way to make sure the mole is on target. If this is not an option, we will have to use a trenching method to get the project complete. After the water line is run, a plumber can finish the water connection to the home. Once a final inspection is made, a final bill will be sent..
